GoDaddy

A series of free virtual events designed to help micro-business owners bounce back from the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic, and learn how to make the most of their online presence.

We supported the GoDaddy communications team in developing a series of seven virtual events, targeting locations across the UK identified in their State of the Nation research. Our role was to:

• Research and develop the design and user experience of the virtual events
• Identify and liaise with speakers, including GoDaddy customers and local influencers
• Conducting rehearsals and troubleshooting tests ahead of each event
• Script writing and development of discussion themes
• Content development; we helped GoDaddy with the production of video and graphic design content to make their virtual events more dynamic, including a 'how-to' video from a GoDaddy customer service representative
• Management of the events on the day, including troubleshooting risks and issues that arose
• Collate and report on event performance
• Analyse and implement recommendations as a result of attendee feedback
